Freedom's Festivity Smack in the middle of summer
we perform pirouettes on night's stage.
Pop! Sizzle! Wow!
Like percussionists
playing Lady Liberty's song,
reminding audiences of stars, stripes, and freedom.
Light is the ink we use;
hues of red, white, and blue,
a splash of purple and green too.
Just as a the firefly signals its love for summer
flish, flash, flickering,
we proclaim our passion for
life, liberty, and
the pursuit of celebration.
Boom! Bam! Pow!
