“M-Mr. Jacks!” Kate was overjoyed, seeing Mr. Jacks. She could tell he was just as happy as she was, but through that, she saw that he was a little worried. “Mr. Jacks?” Kate questioned. Mr. Jacks responded with a quick, hm. Kate tried to comfort him, “Are you alright? You seem a bit upset.” Mr. Jacks seemed surprised by the question but answered, “I could not get my dog across the force field.” She peered back and saw the small bulldog whining, still inside the field, reminding her of her mission to get back to her family. She then looked back at Mr. Jacks, but instead of seeing the worried expression he previously wore she, was met with a determined one. With this, she knew that they were ready. She looked back one last time before they started their way towards the small city in the distance. Can you separate this into proper paragraphs (separating the dialogue)?
