If you can read only English, visit the official website of the BBC (www. bbc. co. uk) or a web-translated version of a foreign language site.

Find and describe the service's philosophy of broadcasting. How consistent is it with how you think American noncommercial broadcasting operates? With American commercial broadcasting?

List and then describe the outlet you selected and explain how it compares to what would be considered a similar outlet in the USA. Is this foreign media outlet more Conservative? Liberal? Independent? Does it have a bias at all? How would you compare its content with the United States general structure of content (more rough, racy, calm, family-friendly, etc.)? And why?
