When l opened my eyes l had no idea where I was, but then I turned around. I couldn't believe what I saw! The trees were larger then life. I couldn't even see the tips of them! The grass was so green and soft it felt like the carpets of the most expensive hotels, not that I would know what those felt like. The aura of the sweetest flowers invaded my senses and took hold of me, filling my body with happiness. Energy coursed through my body as I began to explore. Reds and oranges and pinks danced across my vision. There were colors I didn't even have names for, but were so new and unique that I knew they must be only of this land. The sky was a wonderous blue, towering over me endlessly into the horizon. White, fluffy clouds sat above. I somehow knew that no matter how fluffy they were, they would never rain. Suddenly, I felt something watching me. I looked to my left. Sitting on a piece of wood was a little rabbit, its inquistive eyes testing me. I stalked over to it, afraid it might be startled. It said there, unsure and tentative, as I slowly reached to where it sat. "Hello?" I squeaked, surprised by the sound of my voice. The bunny sat where it was still, not budging. "Would you like to play with me?" I asked, hopeful that I wouldn't be left alone. The bunny jumped up and down on the log in such excitement that a huge grin broke out on my face. Suddenly all types of creatures were emerging. Birds chirped on branches, singing their lovely songs. Sometimes I even joined in. Deer came and ran with me. Groundhogs and I searched for treasures hiding in the ground. The bunny and his friends tought me how to dance in their silly way. I learned many things from the king bears. I felt more joy than I thought possible for a little girl. I ran and danced and sang and learned but suddenly all the sound and animals had gone. How strange, I thought, Where are all of my friends? I looked and looked until I reached a part of the forest I had never seen before. It was dark and scary. The trees no longer looked so hopeful reaching toward the sky, but now looked as if they were looming over me. I started to back away when a voice came from the shadows. "Where are you going, little one?" I turned to find the voice, but saw nothing but an outline of a figure. What it could be, I didn't know, but I didn't want to know either. Something stuck me where I was, I couldn't move my feet. Rooted where I was, the voice called out again. "You're friends aren't here for you now are they? You stupid child they lead you here. Your kind has ruined the land and sea of our homes. The trees behind you were once what we had, now gone. What you see in front of you is what you have created. Now we get to make you pay." The voice began laughing, the sound getting more and more distant. I tried to run but my legs wouldn't move. I called out for help, but nobody came. Screaming, I began to move. Not away, like I wanted, but strangely up! I looked down as the ground moved rapidly away and realized my legs were gone! What replaced them was a long, rough trunk of a tree. The bark made my body itch, and I began screaming again. Up, up, up I went towards the sky. The clouds seemed to be laughing at me, drawing me to them. Slowly each bit of me went away, my hips, my chest, my neck. My hair began to grow into leaves. All I could see what bright green as my body transformed. Until suddenly I couldn't see. I screamed and screamed until the sound stopped.
Explanation:
I wrote this the other day for another question but if you want a different one I can write something else...I don't mind :P
For this one the beginning sentence had to be "When l opened my eyes l had no idea where I was."
