journalist Mike Leonard, in the video presentation, “Awe,” The Telling Well,
October 2015, builds an argument to persuade his audience that protecting the natural
darkness of the night skies is a fundamental environmental need. In your
paragraph, analyze how Leonard uses one or more of the rhetorical appeals (ethos,
pathos, logos) to strengthen the logic and persuasiveness of his argument. Be sure that
your analysis focuses on the most relevant features of the passage video presentation.
Your paragraph should not explain whether you agree with Leonard's claims, but
rather how Leonard builds an argument to persuade his audience.
