How does listening to the poem "Friendship" being read aloud compare to reading it silently? Hearing the poem read aloud allows listeners to appreciate the poem more than those who simply read it silently.

The sound of the speaker's voice stresses the rhythm and meter of the poem to strongly convey the poem's emotions.

The poet's purpose for writing the poem is clearer when it is read aloud than when read silently.

The rhyme scheme is totally different when the poem is read aloud.
