What is life like for Katniss?

Katniss everdeen was in the well known "Hunger Games" Her family lived in the district 12 area, one of the poorest districts out of the rest. She lived with her mother and her younger sibling named prim. Due to the lack of food provided, Katniss would hunt for food and gather resources so that her family would hopefully be alright. At the end, Everdeen makes a huge sacrifice in order to save her loved family.
