Happiness is something that everyone desires and wants to get. And, seemingly, by the time we are early adults most of us think we should be getting some happiness. As it turns out, happiness is less something you get, and more something you experience. Instead of getting, it seems to be a state that some have and some experience. Pick one of the following: Income, Health, Age, Gender, Parenthood, Intelligence, Attractiveness, Work, Religiosity, Genetics, or Friendship. In one cogent paragraph (no less than 400 words), explain whether your chosen variable is a low, moderate, or high predictor of happiness. This should be empirically (research) based. Are people with children more likely to be happy than those without? Is age a good predictor of happiness? Pick the variable that interests you. Some of the research might surprise you!
