At first, I didn't have much interest in the house my great-uncle had left
me. I was comfortable living in the city. When I received the deed,
however, I decided that I should at least give the place a quick
inspection before I sold it. When I drove up, the place looked like
something out of a horror movie: an old, rotting Victorian mansion with
turrets and cobwebs. I stepped inside, took one look at the spooky
interior, and turned around to leave.
