Choose ONE SCENE from your novel to rewrite as a screenplay. Include the following in your screenplay using correct formatting (see example in lesson): Include a cast list at the beginning of the play.
Include a description of setting.
Include a description of props.
Include a description of the costumes.
Be sure to include scene descriptions at the beginning of the scene and format it properly (capitalization, spacing, etc.). Please highlight your scene descriptions in yellow.
Include sound cues that are properly formatted (all caps) and highlight those in hot pink.
Include dialogue in each scene.
Length requirement: two pages or more.

the story is this---
In the Martian Space Station, just outside of earth, Jack and his friend Nick were planning to make a entrance to Earth to make a truce so they could become partners. Ms. Juniper decided to start their journey to making a truce, so they went to Earth. On earth, Mr. Jacks and Kate just escaped from the force field and were heading to the airport for a getaway and all of a sudden they see the ship that the martians were taking. All of a sudden Mr. Jacks thinks they are trying to invade so he calls the ADU.

After the ADU got to the scene, the Martians made it to land. The humans were ready to defend their land. "How do we confront then when they are like this?" Nick asked. Ms. Juniper responded "We have to either surrender or fight." That left Nick wondering. On the surface, Kate and Mr. Jacks were getting ready to fight the Martians, when something odd happened. The Martians came out of their ship calm and with nothing. Mr. Jacks said "Get ready to fight." Kate nodded. They were about to prevent the world from being invaded. The martian captain said, "We don't want to fight, we just want to make peace." Mr. Jacks responded "How can we be so sure?". The Captain replied, "Well we came out of the ship unguarded and calm, didn't we?". Kate said,"Maybe they are trying to make peace." Mr. Jacks refused to be calm and be around martians so he said, "We don't need aliens to make peace and be friends with us!". The captain said, "Maybe you don't, but it is the best thing we can do right now to prevent occurences in the near future.". Kate said, "Mr. Jacks lets just get this over with so we can continue with our job.". Mr. Jacks replied, "Fine, but i still don't trust these guys.". After they were done with the peace document the Martians agreed to leave until there was a crisis and the humans needed help. Once the martians left Mr. Jacks said, "I still don't trust them.". Kate said "You dont have to, they were just trying to help.". Mr Jacks said,"I know that its just that I dont know what to think about extra terrestial beings being in contact with us.". "We dont know what will happen, so when the time comes lets be ready." Kate said.

After the Martian agreement Mr. Jacks got over the fact that they were in contact with Martians and continued his life to the fullest, playing sports and watching movies. Kate had gone back to school from before they started their adventures. She was confident and she liked the fact the Martians were protecting them. They had both completed their mission. Back in space, the martians were enjoying their time off before a conflict on Earth arises. Although they were protecting Earth they decided to go to their home planet.
