1. Technology has advanced modern society in a way that might have seemed implausible
a mere thirty years ago. The conveniences and instant gratification it has produced are
undeniable, and it is often quite difficult to imagine life without computers, cell phones,

However, the advent of this ever-changing technology also has a downside, one of them
being the demise of the physical book. Some people predict this will happen in as little
as five years. As someone who grew up with a deep love for books, there are numerous
reasons why we should not give up physical books in favor of their virtual counterparts
that are stored and read on an e-book reader
