For this argument, if the mentally ill criminal is leading on a lie and they get caught for lying, the defendant would look guilty for backing up every lie, which they should not be responsible for the consequences given to the mentally ill criminal because the defendant didn't know that they criminal was in fact lying the entire time.

feelings. you can imagine how a bat would feel from its perspective. it all depends on where it lives.

maybe it can taste the salt in the air, or smell water, or something. all of these details are completely dependent on where it is located.
