Read the following passage: Although her dream of flying started when she was very young, Collins's parents didn't have enough money for flying lessons. So she waited
until she was old enough to get a job and save money. Finally, at the age of 19, Collins started flying. "Ever since then, I wanted to fly more
airplanes and go farther and faster and higher and do more," she says. Then the problem of money came up again. Unable to afford an
expensive four-year college, Collins attended a two-year community college, later winning a two-year scholarship to Syracuse University. She
majored in mathematics, ignoring all those who said it wasn't cool or feminine to study math. She earned masters degrees. Then, she joined
the Air Force. It was there that she became a pilot.

Time is not always change. time can also mean continuity, and it can mean keeping acknowledged truths in mind despite differences in circumstances. there is no better example of this in things fall apart than the retellings of the proverb about the bird named eneke, the language in both retellings is almost identical despite the length of time that has passed between their repetitions. in comparing the usages of the same proverb, achebe allows his readers to note the similarities and differences between the situations, and he them understand how this story can be applied to their own lives.
