Worried that she might be late for dinner, Debby kept pedaling fast so that she would reach home on time. While riding through a dark, lonely street, a faint squeak caught her attention. She decided to ignore the faint noise. But as the noise became louder, Debby decided to get off the bike and figure out the source of the noise. She came across a small, helpless puppy that was badly bruised. Debby felt sorry for that helpless creature, who was yelping in pain.
