Scout used to be a stubborn brute that never considered the other side of the story until she took Atticus's advice. For example, “Walter poured syrup on his plate with a generous hand. He probably would have poured it in his milk had I not asked what in the Sam Hill. ”(27). she instantly called out Walter Cunningham about using too much syrup even though he does not know how to eat it. This shows that she does not think about the circumstances of others. Atticus’ advice impacted Scout’s behavior in many different ways she realizes that you have to consider things from someone else's point of view and not just judge them at first sight, to not throw fists at someone who made fun of her, and to act more polite towards people.
