1st Paragraph--SUMMARY:
sentence 1 = (TITLE OF BOOK) by (author of book) is a story about a (boy/girl/donkey/etc.) who
has a (problem, situation, interest, etc.) in (fill in a little bit of details).
sentence 2-3 = In the book, (character’s name and maybe their age) has to (explain the
conflict). The conflict causes (talk about a couple of events that are important without giving
away too much.)
sentence 4 = In the end, (character’s name) learns (fill in the general them of the book)
2nd Paragraph--REVIEW:
sentence 1 = This book is (fantastically wonderful, good, terrifically terrible--you get the idea.)
