What is Gregor’s internal conflict in the metamorphosis?

1. Gregor's inner conflict stems from his awkwardness and shyness in being a social acceptable person represents his inability to process one's self. For instance in the beginning, Gregor believes it is more important on whether or not he missed his train rather than acknowledging the change in condition.

i go to the store and buy some cheese,suddenly there was akward silence.   out of no where comes a ninja, and he takes an apple, and chokes the cashier, until he passes out.   the disapeared in a puff of smoke.   the cashier went to the doctor, and everything was fine again.   they all lived happily ever after without anymore ninjas.
