        Niko was the top assassin. She had killed most of the demons. The angels worst enemy. Her parents were dead. Killed by demons. That's why she got into assassination. The overlord had recently found a strong demon signal. the first one since she was 10. 3 years, thats a long time. She was getting sent out to kill it. Her cat ears and ability to turn into a cat came in handy. She went into the field that the signal had been coming from. While waiting for the energy to become stronger she fell asleep in her cat form.

     She woke up to a cute boy staring at her with intense fear in his eyes. Well the one she could see. After a few seconds her head exploded with pain and she hissed and scratched. The boy yelped and ran back. the pain lessned as he went farther away. As he started to walk forward she hissed and ran around a tree nearby. She turned into her Neko form and hid. The boy looked around for her and when he spotted Niko he looked confused. She stared at his eye. It was vividly green.

      Niko's mind wandered. He's kinda cute. NO. He's a demon. I can tell. "What's your name?"  It took her a moment to realize he asked her a question. "Niko. You?" WHY DID YOU TELL HIM!?!?!   Well. She thought. I want to get to know him better. He stared at her hair and ears. "Emerald. But you can call me Emi." Niko laughed. "That's a girl's name!" Emerald blushed and mumbled "Well. I don't think so." Niko flashed him a grin. "Well, your eyes are green. Like emeralds! So it was given to you nicely." Emerald smiled. "Want to sit and talk?" Niko smiled. "Sure." Goodbye assassination. Hello teen love.

This is the short version of a story on how my character and a friends character met and how a love triangle came to be between Niko, Emerald and a character that isn't in this story yet.

   "Why are you scared?" asked my older brother. I was trembling, "It's a haunted house! What do you think?" The dark red blood on the floor didn't help at all, "Oh, come on! Your just a baby." I swore I would hit him in the gut, so I thought to myself, "Once we get home I will rip all of your games." He started dragging me towards the line of the haunted house, "Now come on, you need to have fun. Your face is always in your books."

   "Hey, Ava and Ryan!" yelled a familiar voice. I turned quickly to see who it was, "Oh! Hey, Matthew!" I waved politely to Matthew, he walked over to us, "What are you guys doing here? I thought you both would say home?" "Yeah we were, but I decided Ava needed some fun!" Ryan said, shaking Matthew's hand.

    "Next!" said the owner of the haunted house. I turned around with the most fear, "Um, can I stay behind?" "No, of course not!" Ryan said, grabbing my wrist and dragging me towards the entrance. A rush of fear filled my body, I wanted to run. The decorations around the house were what I call, "The most scary decorations I have ever seen." I was sure I would faint.
