In this activity, you will write a letter to an author-living or dead. You'll explain how you connected with a text the author
wrote and how it changed your view of yourself and the world.
Part A
Think about your favorite text. It can be by a current author or someone who is no longer living. It can be a fiction or
nonfiction book, short story, poem, article, speech, song lyric, or podcast transcript that you have read and made a
connection with
Select a text. Then write the title and the name of the author.
