Read this excerpt from a story. Sacha pulled the application from her folder and eyed the bank of teacher mailboxes mounted on the office wall. The application was for anyone interested in running for a student government office, and Sacha was interested. She wrote an essay describing her traits and gathered two teacher recommendations. Both teachers had told Sacha she would make a great treasurer. Still, Sacha hesitated. If she were selected, she would have to make a speech in front of the whole school. Numbers were not a problem, and balancing a budget sounded like fun. But the thought of speaking to the class made a bead of sweat form on Sacha's brow. She wiped it away but could not bring herself to put the application in the mailbox--not yet.

What type of conflict does Sacha experience?

person vs. self
person vs. person
