Respect to me is not taking someone for granted. also feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. Respect is a powerful thing and we need it today more than ever.

Other human beings that are successful we look up to them we treat then with this word “respect”. We show them that they are worth something and that there abilities are good. Respect is also showing a loved one that they are good supporters and you admire them for what they do for you.

people don’t really use a lot of respect these days but should. It could be that there were never taught hwo to respect we don’t know. but the question was “what does respect mean to you?” And that is what respect means to me .

in the first sentence "her" could be referring to shely or to the sister. the answer there is "shelly called her sister and told her about the new baby."

in the second sentence "it" could be referring to the roof or the floor. the answer there is "since the roof leaks on the family room floor, we need to repair the roof."
