While reading, there is some point which should we consider:

Big Picture: Before reading anything, clear the whole concept of that reading, like what the story is about, and where we are letting in, and where we will reach after reading this. Marinating the bigger picture will create more curiosity and grab the attention of the listener.  

Summarize: After reading, summarize the whole story in some paragraphs. It will help you to take out the material, which is essential to remember. Summarizing the story will lead you towards your message, which you will conduct at the end of the reading.

Analyze: After summarizing the story, analyze it deeply. Analyze every point and to understand the main point, which is of the writer is talking about.

Reflect and Connect Initial Observations: First, try to observe the initial points and then move gradually to further points.

At the end of the reading, the message extracts the message which the writer is talking about. Moreover, this would be the whole extract of your reading.

the message which is being conveyed is that if a person does not have the qualified skills to be an writer then he should not and if he becomes then just leave it away..
