This man had two sons, the younger of the two asked his father for his share of the estate, so it was given to him. He went out and spent all of his wealth in wild living. Not long after spending all of his money the land went into a severe famine and he had nothing to eat, so he went out to find work. He went to take care of someone's pigs. He was so hungry he longed to just eat some of the pig slop. Soon after that he decided to go and ask his father if he could be one of his servants because he messed up. On his way back home his father saw him in the distance and ran to him. Before he could say anything his father told one of his servants to quickly put a ring on his finger because his son who was dead is now alive again.
