A traditional story that explains a belief system, a natural phenomenon, or a world view of a group of people is called a "Myth." Myths are legendary and traditional stories that usually portrays the heroic act of a certain person, or even the origin of things and events around the community. These stories are not based on actual facts or natural explanation, especially on stories that involves deities or demigods.

byron utilizes literary techniques to emphisize the illustration of the woman in the poem “she walks in beauty”.

for instance, he uses alliteration to use repetitive consonant sounds when he is writing a word at the beginning of a phrase. he uses personification to give personality to a thing or action. he uses imagery when he is describing the woman. we also can find metaphors to better compare a moment.

these techniques add to the reader’s experience of beauty when the author describes the woman physical beauty and the purity of her mind, using imagery.

well stockyards mean a large yard containing pens and sheds, typically adjacent to a slaughterhouse, in which livestock is kept and sorted. and i'm assuming that by party you   mean a large group of people which does make sense because chicago is a very crowded place much like new york. stockyards tend to take up a lot of room due to needing the area for pens to keep animals in and the fact that stockyards are usually right by slaughterhouse where they process and distribute the product. so its much like a zoo but with some dead animal products close by.
