Below are the requirements for your Persuasive Speech Outline and Bibliography. The major parts of the speech (introduction, body, and conclusion) are labeled. Standard numbering and lettering are used. Subdivision is indented as needed. Standard capitalization is used. The points of the outline are in complete sentences. There are at least two items for each level of division (e. g., “A” has a “B,” “1” has a “2”). There is parallelism in terms of how similar things are stated (e. g., main points) and there is balance in terms of how things are developed (e. g., each main point should be developed for about the same length). In-speech or verbal citations are placed in the outline as they will appear in the speech. For this, you only need to reference the name and date of the source as well as the quotation itself or other use of outside material. You must use at least 4 sources. Underline the sources in the text of the outline. Your bibliography details in alphabetical order the full and accurate bibliographic information for each outside source used in your speech. This information is placed in a standard style (MLA).
