Write a personal narrative in which you explore your own experiences with discrimination. You do not have to write about discrimination that was targeted at you, though you can. You may choose to write about witnessing behaviors that were unjust or discriminatory, or you may write about a time when you learned about a historical example of discrimination. As you are writing, keep in mind the concepts you have learned in this unit: narrative structure, powerful use of language, the impact of context on a story. Since this is a personal narrrative, you can write from 1st person perspective (usually, you do not want to do this in academic writing).
