to incorporate using an organizer and key in note taking you have to do the following,

(i)                                  prepare for reading. you should be ready and be fully prepared.

(ii)                              read and analyze. if it is editing an authors book you have to dive deep to get the essence of words. notetaking you to understand what author’s meaning and how to analyze.

(iii)                            compare, contrast and evaluate. develop your analytical and critical thinking and to be more profound to the topic.

(iv)                          create maps, charts, and outlines. for quick review and group all necessary facts. you can stay consistent, you can show relationships and you can arrange your information logically.

(v)                              analyze plot, events and characters. to find meaning that you may not notice when you were reading. you can either plot a diagram if you don’t want to read and reread a book.

(vi)                          organize ideas into the hierarchy. in the pyramid to organize you can use hierarchical notes, here you put solid followed by essential and fundamental thoughts
