Ausable was a spy in the story The Midnight Visitor who acted with calmness and showed great presence of mind when in the situation of danger, he cleverly fooled Max into believing that the knock on the door was from the police and made Max fall down to the ground after he tricked him into believing that the door took him to a safe place to hide.

The example from my own experience that showed calmness and presence of mind was when i was playing football with friends and suddenly our goalkeeper hit his head on the goalpost and passed out.
