1) Slightly squashed at its poles

2) Slightly bulged at its equator

3) Changing of day and night in different places

4) The rotation was proved by the scientist Foucalt in 1851 when he noticed that his pendulum's sweep direction changed orientation at the rate of 11° per hour.
