75 points for anyone who can write a paragraph thanking the donors who gave to my Donors Choose projects and provided my class with new books for our classroom library. Consider how having access to current young adult novels is important for high school students. What does it mean for you when you realize others contribute to projects just so you can have greater opportunities to expand your horizons?

Thank you for your charitable donations towards our projects. This will go far in helping my classmates and I have an improved range of literature and a wider perspective. To me, (you can put something personal here but here's what I think) your donation means so much because it shows that you're willing to invest in the future. I hope this letter takes a step towards letting you know just how much of an impact you've made in the lives of so many kids like me.

Thank you so much for your support in getting these new books into the hands of my class! They were literally jumping up and down with excitement when they first saw the brand new books out in my classroom. Now the old books I had before, which was at the top of every class's list of must reads they most wanted to read, has become second-best because they all want to read the new ones! I have to keep reminding them that the old one used to be a prized commodity! Having new books has made such a difference in our ability to perform language usage. I'm now able to have small groups of students rotate through all of the different parts, including the literacy line, and allow every student to experience each of the parts. I have also been able to incorporate them into the 5th and 6th grader's units on words and great reading!
