What does it mean to be self-demanding?

Self-demanding, as the word implies, refers to people that expect a lot from themselves. People who are self-demanding are usually also disciplined and perseverant. They are able to identify what their objectives are and the best paths to reach them. More importantly, they are able to work hard constantly in order to achieve these goals. These people also tend to become very upset and disappointed when they are unable to stick to their plans.
