I need to put 3 examples of a metaphor 3 examples of a simile, 3 examples of personification, 3 examples of hyperbole, 3 examples of some form of irony, and 3 examples of imagery In my poem. Please help and see if you can think of how to put these in;

My world was once dark as night
Not such a sight to see,
No one was there,
No one but me,

My world only got worse,
Unpleasant emotions became my personality,
I was immersed,
In a world full of sentimentality

Then I saw a spark,
It hissed and danced around me,
And it whispered,
“I can help you break free”

I chased the spark with caution,
For I was as cautious as a prey on a prairie,
Was following the spark a solution (?),
It led me to a door,
And all i had to do was open it,

I opened the door,
And saw a bright light,
It was a new world,
And it was now my world,

In my new world you’d be happy and canny,
A smile in every nook and cranny,
It’s a world full of mellifluous sounds,
Not tied in leaps and bounds,
Yes it has its cons, but now it’s not just dark sad sounds,
Now i’m as happy as a clam,
For if i hadn’t chased the light,
I would not have been this bright.

Read the selection below and answer the question. an open boat by alfred noyes o, what is that whimpering there in the darkness?

'let him lie in my arms. he is breathing, i know.
look. i'll wrap all my hair round his neck' – the sea's rising,
the boat must be lightened. he's dead. he must go.'

see - quick - by that flash, where the bitter foam tosses,
the cloud of white faces, in the black open boat,
and the wild pleading woman that clasps her dead lover
and wraps her loose hair round his breast and his throat.
'come, lady, he's dead.' - 'no, i feel his heart beating,
he's living, i know. but he's numbed with the cold.
see, i'm wrapping my hair all around him to warm him.' -
- 'no. we can't keep the dead, dear. come, loosen your hold.

'come. loosen your fingers.' - 'o god, let me keep him! ' -
o, hide it, black night! let the winds have their way!
and there are no voices or ghosts from that darkness,
to fret the bare seas at the breaking of day. which choice best describes the conflict in this poem? the winds are rocking the boat. a man is thrown into the sea. a woman doesn’t want to let go of her dead lover. someone is crying in the darkness.
