Chinese scientists used a 3-D printer to make a (donor, tissue, or framework) for each new ear. Then they added cells from the child who would receive the war. These cells grew in number until they (damaged, energized, or replaced) the printed part of the ear. After (many years, several months, a few days), the ear was ready. This whole process was (less healthy, still easier, much faster) than getting a donor.
