Translation is the process of synthesizing proteins using the dna from an mrna molecule.synthesis of polypeptide chains produces the specific proteins which is  based on the genetic code in dna. it occurs in two stages, transcription and translation. 
transcription  usually  occurs in the nucleus of the aukarytic cell.. it is similar to dna replication because a dna strand is used to synthesize rna strands.
the dna serves as a strand for the nucleotides to go together to a mrna strand. when the strand is formed, base pairing for the nitrogenous bases is in the uracil.  
translation occurs in the cell’s ribosome. inside the cell’s cytoplasm, the ribosomes attaches to mrna. the codon goes through the ribosome, and then trna brings amino acid into the ribosome. the code of the mrna is translated when the trna carries one type of amino acid.  
after that the ribosome and rrna molecules attaches amino acids to together with the trna. when translation is completed the protein chains continues to develop until the ribosome reaches the mrna molecule. in the ribosome it releases the mrna to form new molecules of proteins.
