James, James. Thanks for the A2A on this but you just may regret it…. This commercial drives me insane to the point that my family knows they need to evacuate the area immediately if it ever comes on in my presence. I will yell at the television, “NO THERE ISN’T”. Every. Single. Time.

My hatred of this commercial almost rivals that of my hatred of Tom Cruise. Almost.

The commercial is a Canadian one for a take home pregnancy test. Its catch phrase says, “There is such thing as being a little bit pregnant."

I repeat, NO THERE ISN'T!!!

You are either pregnant or you aren't. Cells are either viable or they aren't.

I realise there is a small window where the sperm and egg have made contact but not yet fertilized but I repeat, you are either pregnant or you are not. To me, that waiting period counts as “not” until you “are”.

But I digress.

I am no biologist. I am not here to minimize anyone's experiences with fertilization or miscarriage or abortion or anything of the like.

I simply loathe that commercial
