Read the persuasive passage:

I recently read the book "Fred Says" by Lyndsay Wells. I loved this book! The story is funny and made me giggle. The author uses lots of describing words. You can imagine the crazy-looking sharks in the bathtub and the terrifying lizards under the bed. Fred and his mom talk about the sharks, and you can tell that Fred sure has an active imagination. The pictures in the book were wild and colorful. That is just the kind of illustrations that I like to see. I recommend this book as your next reading choice. Get it from the library today!

Were you persuaded by the passage? Why or why not? Write 3-4 sentences that give reasons for your response. Refer to the rubric as you compose your answer.
