The poem you will write needs to be 20+ lines and needs to pertain to someone that you admire. This can be someone that is close to you or an icon but highlight what you admire about them, why you admire them and how they impact you. Your poem should also contain a sophisticated use of poetic devices such as metaphors, similes, alliteration, onomatopoeia, personification, etc.
Requirements:
An original title
20+ lines
At least 3 examples of poetic devices
An identifiable theme or ‘hook’ that frames the story and captivates audience
Must demonstrate genuine effort, and your own original work (do not plagiarize)
