Explain "A Doll’s House Summary by Henrik Ibsen – A Husband & Wife Story" in your own words

Below is my own summary of "A dolls house" by Henrik Ibsen.

Explanation:

In the play, Nora is the wife of Torvald. She borrowed a large amount of money and kept it a secret from her husband. She borrowed the money to help her husband recover from a serious illness. She was secretly paying back the loan in installments from her household allowance.

Tovald her husband thinks her to be childlike and careless, He calls her His doll. When the husband is appointed as bank director, He relieved Nils krogstad of his job because Nils was accused of of forging his signature on a document. This same Nils krogstad is the man Nora has borrowed the money from.

It is discovered that Nora had forged Her father's signature so as to get the loan. Having being relieved, Nil Krogstard threatens to reveal what Nora did and disgrace her and her husband unless if Nora will influence her husband not to fire him.

Nora tried her best to convince Torvald her husband not to fire Nils but Her husband sees her as a child who doesnt understand business. Tovald refused to listen to her even though She did it for Him. This made Nora to see that her hsuband is not worth her love and she moved on.
