Creon's s a figure in Greek mythology best known as the ruler of Thebes in the legend of Oedipus. Creon had four sons and three daughters with his wife and love there family very much .

He is sometimes considered to be the same person who purified Amphitryon of the death of his uncle Electryon and father of Megara, first wife of Heracles. Creon purified him, and received all three as exiles in Thebes. It was then that Amphitryon gave his sister Perimede as wife to Licymnius.

Some time later Alcmena gave birth to Heracles, child of Zeus and not of Amphitryon, and when this son was grown up, he led the The bans against Erginus, the king of the Minyans who imposed a tribute after his father was killed by Perieres, charioteer of Creon's father Menoceus.

Antigone summarizes that the imminent end is coming for the people of their clan and goes away.

Explanation:

Antigone has understood that Creon will not bulge on her insistence to bury her brother but she is able to sacrifice that willingly when she understands that the doom of her dynasty is imminent in every way

The proclamation of Creon is not faithfully recounted as such by her as much as she interprets it in the doom of her own people and her own self as she would not bulge from the principle that she had lived up to by now.

She would not bulge and thus she proclaims the reasons with the summary of the proclamation thus.
