Bias (having bias or being biased) is a term that describes a prejudice someone has in favor of or against something. For example, I may tell you, “it is a fact that Mastiffs are the cutest dogs in the world,” but I am biased because I have one, and this is really just my opinion. I may also say, “The Anaheim Ducks are the worst hockey team in the NHL,” even if the Ducks have the best record in the league. I am biased because I am a fan of their rival, the San Jose Sharks.
Which one of the following types of evidence would likely show bias? Select all that apply.
