1. In the modern times, several diseases regarding cardiovascular diseases, respiratory infections or immune system diseases take the lives of many people in their most productive working years; especially, a newly spreading virus called coronavirus has recently been taking the lead.

2. Felman (2020) defines coronaviruses as types of viruses that typically affect the respiratory tracts of birds and mammals, including humans which are associated with the common cold, bronchitis, pneumonia, and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) by medical professionals as well as affecting the gut.

3. Felman (2020) further states that over the last 70 years, scientists have found that coronaviruses can infect mice, rats, dogs, cats, turkeys, horses, pigs, and cattle which can transmit coronaviruses to humans.

4. Recently, the new coronavirus outbreak; known as COVID-19, in China that has now reached other countries (Felman, 2020).

5. It is obvious that from an economic perspective, the recent coronavirus has a major potential to affect all countries adversely in terms of production of goods and sustainability in money markets.

6. As a consequence of this outbreak, Hutt (2020) underlines that China’s economic growth is expected to slow to 4.5% in the first quarter of 2020 – the slowest pace since the financial crisis.

7. In addition, according to Partington (2020), the latest snapshot of industrial activity in the world’s second largest economy is expected to reveal a plunge in Chinese factory output in February as quarantine efforts to contain the disease disrupted supply chains; with damaging consequences for companies around the world.
