In what way is the brain like a muscle?

The more you work out your muscles, the better the tone, reaction time and strength; the use of the mind, your brain can yield analogous benefits as working your muscles. Your reaction time is quicker, you are able to handle more difficult information and more of it. The saying “use it or lose it” is appropriate for both your mind and muscle.
