"It seems wonderful that so frail and lovely a plant has such power over human hearts" In "Calypso Borealis," John Muir views nature as a beautiful thing and shares his view through fantastic imagery to describe how everything looks , while William Wordsworth uses tone and mood to show his view of nature as a heartwarming thing in his poem "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud.”
The authors in the poems described their journey about how it looked and how they felt during the adventure. In the poem I wandered lonely as a cloud He was feeling down “I wandered lonely as a cloud” he said expressing he is sad. Until he said “When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils.” He views nature as a beautiful thing and before he had found the beautiful daffodils he was lonely. But somehow the daffodils made the sad feeling that he had go away. He says that “The waves beside them danced; but they Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:” he is describing how the flowers are moving in glee using mood showing that they are dancing in a joyful way. He is entertained by the flowers and he is happy. He says “ then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils.” which shows he is using tone creating a positive vibe.
On the other hand in the poem The Calypso Borealis the author uses amazing imagery and describes how everything looks and how he feels sad at the beginning until he finds a rare flower. In the poem he says “I set off on the first of my long lonely excursions” expressing that he is lonely. He has explained in the poem that he has climbed trees, crawled, and ventured and seen many things by himself. He also describes the temperature and the scenery of the places he had gone through. Then he says with excitement “The rarest and most beautiful of the flowering plants I discovered on this first grand excursion was Calypso borealis” which describes that the flower is very beautiful. He expresses his joy in finding this flower showing that he loves nature throughout the poem describing everything on his adventure.

John Muir can bring you somewhere else with such amazing imagery. William Wordsworth can make your emotions change and show you what he feels throughout the poem. Now you know how words can bring such emotion and such imagery, So will you read more poems?
