Why did rudyard kipling become a writer and poet?

Rudyard Kipling pursed becoming a writer/poet because he was fascinated by people. He took what he saw from those around him, and created short stories, books and poems out of that.

Due, to the reason that people across the globe have diversity among there lifestyles and culture, and for that reason writers and poets are made more curious to write about the different aspects of the society or civilization which they observe or analyze. The same case was for Rudyard Kipling, as he was curious about the different cultures, there way of life, and then he had the imaginative power of placing different characters inside his novels, poems, and other work.
