Brutus should have appealed to the mob’s emotions. His speech was very logical but lacked in emotions. This was needed to move people. If he had done this different the people would have been moved and sided with him.

He also wanted the audience to know how much Caesar was loved. Anthony aimed to the people's heart in order to inspire and make them feel. Antony's speech was definitely more effective.

However, Brutus was the complete opposite. Brutus was very frank and dry with the audience. He wanted to use a more logical approach rather than an emotional approach which is where he messed up. Brutus wanted a peaceful speech so he didn't provoke the audience like Antony did. Overall, Brutus did not effectively impact the audience emotionally.
