Can i get some opinions on if violence on tv is causing an increased amount of violence among today’s youth i’m writing an essay on it for ela and i’m trying to see other people’s opinions

i would say yes, but mostly it has to do something with the parents. some parents are careless and let their kids watch whatever they want. some kids live with their parents apart or fighting, so they develop that fighting habit too. most of the time, parents are split apart, so the kids don't get proper discipline most of the time, and that leads to violence and whatnots.
