It was the first high school football game and I was so excited; I had been looking forward to this day since the first day of school. I was now part of a team and I was loving every minute. Just as they call my name I take off running full of anticipation for the first play of the game. Before I made it to the sidelines, I felt my knee pop and down I went. Needless to say, my spirits were crushed and I never got to experience that first game play.
