The Crucible portrays a story of morality. Rebecca does not change very much during the course of the film. In the film, the question of morality if the one integral point of the story. Later, towards the end of the movie, Rebecca is accused of witchcraft. She is falsely accused of the act. She was accused by Anne Putnam of the crime and forced to confess but she would not do so. Instead, she chose the side of truth and died rather than lie and sacrifice principle.
