What does it mean to be successful? To be successful in life is to be happy with your life; however, it also means recognizing that all the mistakes you have made up to where you have helped you grow.

When someone thinks of success, they tend to think about being rich and living an expensive lifestyle, and while this does mean success for some people, it is not always the case. A lot of people who have that lifestyle and have all these expensive things usually say that it only makes them feel satisfied for a short amount of time, they say that money is not everything to them, this is because they had to lose so much to get to the point at which they are. Some people say they lost so much that they do not feel satisfied with what they achieved, and instead, they were happier before they were rich. A family who lives in the middle class, or even the lower class, who does not have much, but knows that they are loved and cherished and are happy for that can be considered successful, because it is not about what you have in your bank account, it is about how you feel in your mind and your heart.

Mistakes are seen as bad sometimes, and while they can be, they can also be the best teachers. To achieve success, you must learn to grow from what you do wrong so that that mistake does not happen again. You must learn to carry the stones and weight of your errors and use them to build yourself a ladder to happiness and success. There is no flower without thorns, and there is no success without any falls, and it is not about how hard you hit the ground or how deep you fall. It matters whether you can pick yourself back up again and keep going while avoiding falling down the same manner that you previously already have.
