Dear advice guy,
i am a seventh-grader with a big problem. my parents gave me a gift certificate to my favorite clothing store for my birthday. my friend thinks i should use it to buy two or three t-shirts with the names of bands on front. however, we’re not allowed to wear those kinds of t-shirts to school. i know my parents would rather i used the gift certificate for school clothes. i also really like some jeans i saw on a commercial last night, but they’re expensive. i would only be able to afford one pair. what should i do?
